In my blog posts I explain various symptoms
and proposed treatments

【Introducing "Facial Acupuncture"|For dullness and puffiness on the face, fatigue in the jaw, stiff neck and shoulders, headaches and much more】

I have many patients suffering from stiff necks, tight shoulders and headaches. But recently I have also had many patients with heavy head and eye strain from long hours of computer work, as well as bad complexion due to poor blood circulation on the face, puffiness, and tired jaws.

Facial acupuncture is highly effective for such concerns.

This patient below came to my practice to relieve fatigue all over both in his body, head and face, caused by his busy work schedule.

STEP 1: Determine acupuncture points that feel clogged, such as temples, cheeks, and chin, and apply acupuncture

Target those areas to practice acupuncture. Depending on the patient's symptoms and preferences, the number of needles may be as few as 6 or as many as 20.

STEP 2: Acupuncture may be further performed to your neck, shoulders and head

Symptoms such as dullness and swelling of the face are often caused by stiffness in the neck and shoulders, insomnia, headaches, eye strain, stress, and fatigue. You can expect an improvement on these concerns, as well.

STEP 3: Finish with muscle massage, lymphatic massage, and head massage to improve stagnation of lymph and blood flow around the neck and shoulders, and stiffness on the scalp

Facial acupuncture is also effective to relieving jaw fatigue caused by clenching and grinding teeth, and stiffness on your scalp. After the treatment, you will be in a mixed state of relaxation and awakening.

Finally: Recommendation of acupuncture with minimum stimulation

This patient previously had a bad experience with acupuncture at another practice, and he was reluctant when I initially suggested acupuncture treatment, but now acupuncture is one of his favorite treatment.

Some people like to feel the sensation of acupuncture, and some don't. By the way, whether there's pain or the sensation of acupuncture or not has no relation to whether or not the treatment is effective.

Even if there are no pain at all, it is fully effective if acupuncture is performed properly.

For those who have never experienced acupuncture and are afraid of it, those who have felt pain from previous treatments, and those who are not very keen on acupuncture treatment, I will perform in the way so that there are less stimulation or are less pain.

I will post more about the body treatment for this patient at a later date.
